Rainbow Art School is established at the Faculty of Design and Applied Art at the University Interregional Institute of Economics and Law (MIEP).
Rainbow Art School welcomes students, schoolchildren, grown-ups, who cannot pass over handmade hats and scarves, for whom a brush is a tool for painting pictures, not fences, who like uncommon vases, cups, boxes and who believe that a handmade thing is the best gift, who wish to create, to enjoy this process and to come to real results. The School opens the gates to the world of creation and beautiful stylish articles.

Handmade Stylish Jewellery Making your own jewellery (brooches, rings, bangles) of different materials.
Decorative Textile Making various textile articles using author’s techniques.
Patchwork Traditional and author’s patchwork techniques and technologies. Working with textile, leather, fur, thread. Using patchwork technique in decorations, clothing, and accessories.
Interior Decorating The basics of graphic for interior decorating. Decoration project, its professional drafting and execution.
Textile Painting Textile painting techniques: hot batik, cold batik, free-style painting. Making shawls, headscarves, neckerchiefs, pictures, curtains.
Author’s Dolls Traditions of doll-making and creating national toys. Techniques and materials in art doll-making. Making author’s dolls.
Wood Carving Various carving methods of different complexity. Engraving boxes, chopping boards, panels.
Photographic Art Basic genres: landscape, subject, portrait, reporting. Principles of the theory of photography.
Embroidery and Beadwork Embroidered flowers and bead trees, toys, decorations, pictures.
Carving Bone and Stone Traditional Russian art of bone carving. Stone mosaics.
Painting of Tin Figurines Basic techniques. Tin soldiers, painting uniform.
Art of Drawing Varieties of drawings differing in technique, subject, genre, purpose, execution. A live model; tone and light effects.
Art of Painting Types of painting. Painting techniques, methods, materials. A live model, colour–light and shadow relations. Colour and its properties.
Decorative Drawing (Principles of Graphic Composition) Decorative portrayal of objects. Techniques and technologies. Artistic means and materials. Principles of creating graphic images.
Two stages of each course:
Stage 1 (initial) is meant to give the students the basic knowledge and practical skills of working the material. Stage duration: 36 contact hours. Students successfully completing a course may request a certificate.
Stage 2 (professional). If you have completed Stage 1 and wish to learn more and to improve your skills, it is for you. Stage duration: 72 contact hours. Students successfully completing a course are awarded a certificate.
Certificate in interior decorating

Master Classes The students of all courses have master classes. Duration: 4 contact hours Rainbow Art School provides the students with materials, tools, equipment for master classes.
Art Activities for Children Children make acquaintance with arts and crafts, fine art, design principles. They master painting, graphics, plastic techniques.
